UPL is excited to announce that we have acquired a Mark Andy Digital One digital press that will help us better serve your business!
What are the benefits of our new digital press?
Quality, Quality, Quality –
Our new Digital One press provides high-quality digital print and in-line converting and finishing on one machine. The new press includes the following: a full-color CMYK digital print engine, a classical Flexo unit with waste and wind up (which is capable of doing adhesives, varnishes, cold foil, laminations, and spot colors), a die cutting station, RD scoring unit, a scissor slitter cartridge, and lastly, a dual rewind for the finished product. All this technical jargon simply means that we can continue to provide your company with high-quality print jobs using new, superior technologies.
Greater Efficiency –
As a state-of-the-art digital press, our new machine is extremely efficient. The machine combines digital printing and cutting in one – making it a great “all-in-one” machine. Moreover, the machine can do short-run jobs in short time-frame. This means we can provide your company with shorter delivery times while maintaining a high-level of quality!
Increased Flexibility –
Our new digital press provides us with an increased flexibility to meet all your printing needs; including, but not limited to: food and beverage labels, health and beauty labels, promotional tags, wine and spirits, and of course, short run/seasonal labels. This new press also has outstanding resolution – it can print really small texts and fonts. Honestly, we’re excited to test the limits of our new machine. The gauntlet has been thrown!
Smaller Footprint –
The Digital One press helps our company keep a smaller environmental footprint, which in turn, helps your company keep a smaller footprint. Advantages of our new press include – reduced power usage – our new digital press only needs one electric power source (220V); better waste management (RD scoring unit, waste rewind, etc.); lastly, this new press offers a totally ecological process – no primers and no solvents.
